Play is not
allowed on the equipment before school.
During School
Children may
not leave the school grounds alone during school time or at lunch time unless
a note has been sent to the teacher requesting permission.
After School
For fire safety
reasons, parents of Junior Primary children are requested to wait outside the
buildings to collect children on dismissal.
Staff
supervision ceases at 3.35 pm. Therefore, all children must leave the
school grounds by
3.35 pm.
The exceptions are when a sports practice commences between 3.30 pm and 3.45
pm or when the child is attending After School Care. For any sport practice
commencing after 3.45 pm children must go home and then return.
Children are
advised if they have not been collected by the usual time to report to the

circumstances such as car breakdown.
Play on the

Play
Areas
There are three
major play areas:
1. The
asphalt quadrangle
2. The oval
and playground
3. The junior
primary playground and basket ball courts
The first two
areas are open to all children. The junior primary play ground is only
available to children in Years R-3.The netball and basketball courts are for
all children, however Yr 6/7 have use of one court and Yrs R-5 have use of the
other court.
All other areas
of the grounds are out of bounds to play in at recess and lunch periods.
Parking/Drop Off Points
The following
rules are made for the safety of all children in our school:

Margaret
Street Kiss & Drop zone may be used to drop children off but this area
must not be used to pick up children in the afternoon; it is a NO PARKING
zone at all times.

Bowker
Street Car Park is for staff and visitors and should not be used as a drop off
or pick up point for children. Please do not even walk your children
through the car park.

one of the parking areas on the streets to drop off or wait to pick up your
children. Be careful not to choose one of the NO PARKING areas.
